Compression Arm Sleeves

All lymphedema arm sleeves include a removable band to help keep your arm in place all day

Compression arm sleeves are designed to apply pressure to the arm to keep lymph moving in the right direction. Some of your lymphatic vessels are located just under the surface of your skin. Sleeves are tighter at the bottom than they are at the top. This helps create a gradual pressure that keeps the lymph moving out of the arm. Research has found arm sleeves to be effective as part of an overall treatment plan for lymphedema. Jinni MD compression apparel is a world leading, best value high quality brand. Specially designed micro fibre means Jinni MD is the ideal breathable option which keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter.

Compression Indication Guide

Class 2: 20-30mmHg: Moderate Compression

  • Symptoms of venous disease
  • Upper arm swelling
  • Beginning of varicosis
  • Prophylaxis of thrombosis

Always consult with your doctor or lymphedema therapist to check requirements of pressure and fit.

Consider buying two sleeves or garments so you can alternate them for washing. Our customers have reported that Jinni MD sleeves are easy to wash and dry overnight if night time wear is not necessary. Typically Jinni MD arm sleeves need to be replaced every 6 – 9 months due to compression loss over time.

Avoid applying moisturizers to your arm and hand before putting on the sleeve. Their ingredients can break down the elastic fibres in the sleeve over time.

We recommend consulting with a doctor or lymphedema therapist in order to find the most appropriate therapy for each individual. People who are at risk for lymphedema or who have mild to moderate lymphedema should, at a minimum, wear their sleeve during air travel and while exercising.
